The long wait is over – today I’m proud to present the lyric video for “I Was A Witness To His Passing”, the first single from the forthcoming Arx Atrata album “A Reckoning”, due for release on July 5th 2024.
“I Was A Witness To His Passing” is the opening song from the new album and the lyrics tell a tale of both the futility of war and of the wider failings of humanity in our dealings with each other and our environment, rendered into video form by the talented hand of Olga Kann Art / Design.
The album “A Reckoning” is the first full-length record from Arx Atrata since 2019, and features over fifty minutes of melancholic black metal, mastered by the illustrious Greg Chandler at Priory Recording Studios.
